Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview:
I’m currently working with a leading brand in the creative sector to recruit a talented Studio Manager for their in-house team based in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, creatively driven environment, producing high-quality content across photography, videography, retouching, design, and production.

My client delivers standout creative work that supports major marketing campaigns and brand initiatives, and they’re now looking for a strong studio leader to oversee day-to-day operations, manage a talented team, and drive the seamless delivery of campaign assets.

The Role:
This is a hands-on, varied role that requires an experienced Studio Manager with a solid grounding in creative production. You’ll be responsible for managing people, processes, and projects within a busy multi-disciplinary studio environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working within at least one of the core creative disciplines (e.g. photography, video, design, or retouching), along with excellent stakeholder and team management skills.

You’ll work closely with brand and marketing teams to ensure creative output meets both brief and deadline, while upholding the highest standards of brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a busy, multi-channel studio
  • Manage workflow and project delivery across photography, videography, retouching, design, and production
  • Lead and support a team of in-house creatives, freelancers, and production staff
  • Ensure smooth and timely delivery of creative assets for integrated marketing campaigns
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on timelines, resources, and creative direction
  • Monitor output for consistency, quality, and brand alignment
  • Continuously improve studio processes, efficiency, and team collaboration
  • Oversee studio scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning

About You:

  • Demonstrable experience managing a creative or production studio in a high-volume environment
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one relevant creative discipline
  • Excellent people leadership and team management skills
  • Confident working with stakeholders across brand, marketing, and senior leadership
  • Deep understanding of creative workflows and the asset delivery process
  • Passionate about branding and creative storytelling
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-oriented

Desirable:

  • Experience in an in-house brand team or creative agency
  • Knowledge of tools such as Monday.com, Asana or similar project management platforms
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and post-production processes

What’s on Offer:

  • A vibrant, collaborative working culture
  • The chance to lead a high-performing creative studio
  • Competitive salary and progression opportunities
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Ongoing professional development
