Job summary

Apple Inc. in York is seeking a Studio Engineer to join the Apple Music Studio Engineering team, delivering recording sessions and live broadcasts with top artists in a fast-paced production environment.

You will manage audio/video production requirements, collaborate with video teams, travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, and apply deep knowledge of multi-format audio, Dante, SMPTE 2110-30, and macOS/Linux environments.

Qualifications

5 to 7+ years of experience engineering live performances and broadcasts.
Knowledge of production audio/on-location recordings and wireless systems.
Familiarity with SMPTE 2110-30, Dante, AES3, MADI and analog.
Strong knowledge of digital audio workstations and microphone techniques.

Responsibilities

Delivery of recording sessions and live broadcasts with A-list artists in a fast-paced production environment.
Assist video teams in capture, transmission and storage of video content.
Ensure all equipment performs to standard by keeping it in top operating capacity and managing repairs.
Inform extended management of irregularities or impact to production.
Interface with internal and external partners to align on audio/video production requirements.
Coordinate and assist with off-site audio/video captures.
Manage audio mixing, processing and cleaning tasks.
Up to 15% domestic and international travel.
