Job summary

Kemi Telford Limited is seeking a Studio & Ecommerce Operations Assistant to join our on-site Sutton warehouse. You will be hands-on with orders, stock, ecommerce tasks and content support, using Lightroom, Photoshop and Shopify daily to maintain our house style and brand image.

You should be confident communicating professionally, able to work independently, and eager to learn our systems. This is a fast-paced role with real ownership and opportunities to influence a growing fashion brand.

Qualifications

• You already know Lightroom, Photoshop and Shopify, and can prove it, not just say it.
• You love fashion. You have your own style, and you notice how a garment is made and how it fits.
• You communicate well in writing. You can write a clear, warm and professional customer email without needing someone to rewrite it for you.
• You are comfortable being filmed and photographed regularly. Content is a real, ongoing part of this role, not an occasional extra.
• You are honest. You can give us real references we can call.
• You take ownership. You notice problems, raise them early and follow things through without being chased.
• You can hold several things at once without dropping any of them.
• You want to build something. Not just clock in and out.

Responsibilities

• Pack and dispatch customer orders
• Handle returns, exchanges and faulty items
• Handle customer service confidently and professionally, including returns, delivery problems, complaints and other enquiries
• Sort courier issues and deliveries
• Manage incoming stock and keep the shelves right
• Handle in person order pick-ups from the warehouse
• Manage our general inbox, replying where you can and flagging collaboration, press or manufacturer enquiries to the business owner
• Run ad hoc errands and other tasks as they come up. No two days are the same

Studio & Ecommerce Operations Assistant, Kemi Telford

Location: Sutton, London. Warehouse based on site.

Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 a year, depending on experience.

Contract: Full time, permanent.

About Us

Kemi Telford is a London based womenswear brand. Colour, confidence, quality. We are seen, and growing, and we are looking for a full-time member of staff to support our freelancers and the business owner and help us run things day to day.

The Role

This job is hands on. Orders, customers, stock, shelves and ecommerce. You will also support our content, regularly, not as an occasional extra. We will teach you our systems and how we work, but you must already be confident communicating professionally, working independently and using everyday digital tools. We cannot teach taste, instinct, initiative or care.

What You'll Be Doing

Running things, day to day

• Pack and dispatch customer orders
• Handle returns, exchanges and faulty items
• Handle customer service confidently and professionally, including returns, delivery problems, complaints and other enquiries

• Support photoshoots. Steam clothes, help on the day
• Edit photos in Lightroom to our house style. This is a required skill, not something we will train from scratch
• Record video content, including behind the scenes packing
• Post approved content to our social media

Shortlisted candidates will complete a short-paid trial. This will include a real Lightroom or Photoshop editing task, a small product data task on Shopify, answering a real customer complaint, checking a batch of items for planted errors, and prioritising a list of mixed jobs, followed by time working independently so we can see how you think and work, not just what
