Job summary

HoW College, in Worcester, is seeking a Wellbeing and Safeguarding Officer for the Student Experience and Engagement department. The role involves supporting diverse students, maintaining safeguarding procedures, and promoting wellbeing initiatives across campuses with potential travel to other sites.

The successful candidate will be empathetic, a great listener, and supportive, with opportunities to develop skills in safeguarding, welfare, and student services.

Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ Qualification in a relevant area.
Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the first response safeguarding contact and provide rapid response to safeguarding concerns.
Maintain and record accurate information using college systems such as ProMonitor, UnitE.
Assist in delivery of annual safeguarding updates.
Promote safeguarding, prevent and wellbeing support to students and support tutorial content.
