Job summary

The Bicester School is seeking a dedicated First Aid & Student Pastoral Support Manager to join our team. You will provide pastoral support and medical care across the school, working with leaders, staff, families and external agencies to promote student wellbeing and engagement with learning.

Role involves handling medical records, liaising with parents, and supporting attendance and behaviour, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children and young people is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Calm under pressure with ability to build positive relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support and intervention for students.
• Provide first aid and medical support to students, staff and visitors.
• Maintain medical records and healthcare plans; manage medication procedures.
• Liaise with parents/carers and external agencies to support student needs.
• Provide administrative support relating to student welfare and medical provision.
• Support reception and front of house functions as required.
