An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Student Wellbeing Advisor to enhance student health and wellbeing at their Aberdeen City Campus. Student Wellbeing Advisor (Ref. No. A985)
Full Time/Fixed Term/Maternity Cover/Aberdeen City Campus (cover may also be required at other campuses)
Salary: £34,816.03 - 37,476.26 per annum
We're on the lookout for a Student Wellbeing Adviser who's approachable, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Student Wellbeing Framework to ensure a comprehensive approach to student health and wellbeing at NESCol.
Mental health and wellbeing support will be facilitated through cross college events, workshops, appointments and initiatives aimed at promoting student wellbeing and identifying emerging mental health issues. You will also further develop engagement with vulnerable groups (incl. Care Experienced, Estranged Students and Student Carers) through proactive initiatives with a particular focus on social activities to reduce feelings of isolation and create a sense of belonging.
You will need to have an effective range of communication and organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of anxiety, depression and other emotional difficulties and how they might present.
