Are you ready to start your career in veterinary nursing with a supportive and experienced team? Village Vet is looking for a passionate and motivated Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN) to join our dynamic group of practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong clinical foundation in a nurturing, team-led environment. We are committed to growing the next generation of skilled, confident RVNs.
You're enthusiastic, eager to learn, a great communicator, and passionate about animal care. You’ll thrive in a busy team and be open to working across different sites to maximise your exposure and experience.
Join us and become part of a team that’s committed to your success. Linnaeus is a forward-thinking partnership of highly respected primary care and referral veterinary practices across the UK and Ireland, comprising some of the best clinicians in the profession.
We are all individuals, but two important things bring us together: a commitment to excellence in everything we do and our passion to make a better world for pets.
At Linnaeus, we carefully select our partner practices to ensure the highest levels of patient care. We provide a growing community of veterinary professionals passionate about their work, across various fields including small animal, farm, and equine medicine.
Our Five Principles form the foundation of our daily decisions:
Student Veterinary Nurses (SVN) work under supervision to deliver quality patient care, an excellent client experience, teamwork, clear communication, and utilization of skills and knowledge.
The SVN role is a fixed-term position during training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
You will embrace our growth mindset culture, focus on self-development, and work towards achieving competency in the RCVS Day One Skills for Veterinary Nurses.
Working under the supervision of a Vet or RVN, you will be involved in all nursing skills. For treatments involving minor surgery (not involving entry into a body cavity), direct, continuous, and personal supervision will be provided.
