Job summary

Chichester College Group in Haywards Heath is seeking a proactive Student Union Supervisor to help supervise the student common room and promote positive behaviour. You will oversee the operation of the Haywards Heath campus common room and engage with students to support a safe, welcoming environment.

The role offers flexible, part-time arrangements and opportunities to contribute to student life, with a focus on wellbeing, inclusion and practical health and safety practices.

• Experience of working with and engaging young people.
• Working knowledge of manning a venue.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation

Job description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to our amazing Student Experience team as our Student Union Supervisor.

As our Student Union Supervisor, you will:

• Oversee the conduct of students using the common room and to promote good behaviour.
• Oversee the running of the common room currently on the Haywards Heath campus.
• Encourage positive student behaviour and prevent occurrence of any anti-social activities.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience of working and engaging with young people.
