Driverz Work in the United Kingdom is seeking a School Bus Driver to transport children to and from school in a safe, punctual manner. You will assist with mobility needs and operate ramps and restraints as required.

You must hold a Category D1 licence, a DQC card, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with a proven record of safe driving and compliance with road and school policies. A caring, patient approach and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a full category D1 licence.
• Hold a driver qualification card (DQC).
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving minibuses or large vehicles.
• Experience using safety and mobility aids for wheelchair vehicles.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to undertake job related training and certifications.

Responsabilités

• Transport children to and from school or other authorised locations.
• Assist children in and out of the vehicle, including those with mobility needs.
• Operate lifts and ramps and secure wheelchairs as required.
• Provide minor first aid and arrange medical attention when needed.
• Complete and submit relevant incident and journey reports.
• Direct escorts where employed and assist with above duties.
• Keep detailed records of journeys, fuel, servicing and mileage.
• Carry out daily vehicle maintenance and check fuels and fluids.
