This role is suitable for a Qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant who has recently completed their course and seeks career progression.

The school promotes outdoor play and involves working with a small group of KS1 pupils with Speech and Language difficulties who are below expected levels.
Located in Carr Mill, St Helens, the school has access to local nature parks and outdoor facilities. It prides itself on an inclusive ethos and a supportive, nurturing environment for staff and pupils. Applicants from care, Speech and Language backgrounds, or teaching assistant students are welcome.
The successful candidate will be subject to DfE vetting checks.
Start date: September 2025
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, term-time only
Contract: Fixed-term 12 months, subject to funding with potential extension

You will collaborate with the SENCo, Pastoral Team, and external agencies to deliver Speech and Language provisions.
