Student Support Worker – West London

Location: West London
Position: Full-time and part-time available
Pay: £90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Worker to join a vibrant team in West London. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping students overcome barriers to learning, offering both academic and emotional support to help them thrive. You’ll collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
  2. Help create and implement individualised support plans alongside staff and external agencies
  3. Support students in managing emotions and building resilience
  4. Track progress and share feedback with teaching staff and families
  5. Encourage positive behaviour and uphold school values

Requirements:

  1. Experience working with children or young people in an educational or pastoral setting is desirable
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  3. A caring, empathetic, and patient approach
  4. Resilience when faced with challenges
  5. Passion for supporting student well-being and academic progress
