About The Role
We are looking for an Advice, Guidance and Operations Manager to lead on the operationalisation of the strategic development of our Student Support Services at the University of Leicester. In this role, you will oversee the implementation of policies and processes that support students' access to financial guidance, student life issues, mental health and wellbeing issues, and administration across central student support services. A key responsibility will be to drive continual service improvements by reviewing and optimising current systems and operations, ensuring that students receive the highest quality support, particularly those from underrepresented groups, in crisis or with complex needs.
You will be responsible for managing a diverse team, while collaborating closely with internal departments and external partners. Additionally, you will lead the development of IT systems, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring both staff and students know what support is available. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on student wellbeing and service delivery at the University.
About You
Your experience in implementing change and service improvements, alongside excellent analytical and leadership skills, will be critical in translating strategic objectives into operational outcomes. Ideally, you will have experience in higher education, though this is not essential.
If you are passionate about improving student support services and driving positive change, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
