About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Family Support Worker to join our team at Outwood Academy Normanby. The successful candidate will be highly self‑motivated, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have experience working with children and/or families.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils and their families in school, community and home settings, providing ongoing assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Manage time and organisation to meet daily demands of the role.
  • Maintain confidentiality and build trusting relationships with children and young people in a sympathetic manner.
  • Attend professional development opportunities and contribute to a positive learning climate.
