A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Student Support Practitioner to join their Practice Development Team. The role entails supporting multidisciplinary learners during placements, influencing the quality of their educational experience, and acting as a link between educational institutions and clinical placements. Ideal candidates should be registered health care professionals with advanced communication skills and experience in mental health services. This position offers a dynamic working environment and the chance to impact the future of healthcare training.
Are you looking to join a friendly, supportive and innovative team where your voice will be heard, your contributions valued and your skills and experience celebrated? Are you ready to shape and influence our patient’s experience through the support and development of students and apprentices and their placements in order to provide the NHS with a compassionate and effective future workforce? If you answered “yes” to these questions, you may be the person we are looking for to join our Practice Development Team as a Student Support Practitioner.
You will be a health care professional registered with either the Nursing & Midwifery Council or the Health and Care Professions Council and ideally have experience of working in mental health services. This role offers the opportunity to review current learning, positively impact student experiences through pastoral support, and help shape service-learning culture. Using advanced communication skills, the post holder will engage with a range of staff and services across mainly mental health clinical environments to inform and influence practice from an educational perspective and to negotiate and plan placements.
