Job summary

The Priory Ruskin Academy is looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help students access the curriculum both in and outside the classroom. The Student Support Assistant role suits someone enthusiastic about supporting students with special needs, academically and socially.

Applicants should be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. GCSE English and Maths (A-C) are essential; prior experience with SEN is desirable.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Priory Ruskin Academy is looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and contribute towards the opportunities and experience of our students.

The Student Support Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring all of our students can effectively access the curriculum both in and outside the classroom. This vacancy would suit an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with students with special needs, supporting them to develop from both an academic and social perspective.

Applicants should be computer literate and have worked with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. GCSE English and Maths grade A-C, or equivalent, are essential. Previous experience of having worked with students with special needs would be desirable. This is a temporary contract in line with SEN funding, however there is no end date to the contract whilst funding is in place.
