Job summary

Merton College is seeking a Student Support Adviser to provide holistic information, advice and guidance to learners, aimed at improving completion and progression into further education or employment.

You will liaise with students, staff and external bodies, deliver workshops, and tailor support to individual needs. The role requires Level 4 IAG or a related discipline and strong safeguarding experience, with occasional travel to Carshalton College.

Qualifications

• Qualified at Level 4 or above in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide and support a range of activities to engage learners within the college community.
• Deliver 1:1 interventions and develop risk assessments and support plans.
• Safeguard students and build positive relationships with students and external agencies.
