Wiltshire College & University Centre is recruiting an Academic Support Coach in Trowbridge. The role focuses on providing personalised academic and pastoral support to students, helping them build study habits and confidence, and working with teaching teams to keep learners engaged and on track.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners or supporting individuals (education, youth work, care, mentoring, coaching — all welcome)
• Strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting diverse learners

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised academic and pastoral support to students
• Help learners develop study habits, organisational skills, and confidence
• Work closely with teaching teams to ensure students stay engaged and on track
• Support young people and adults with a range of needs in and out of the classroom
• Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
