Job Title: Student Staff Team Member & Shop Supervisors - Retail Staff

Salary: £12.60 per hour + holiday pay

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, efficient, and hardworking individuals to oversee a range of tasks daily. This year, we will be recruiting both student staff team members and supervisors for the upcoming academic year.

Student Staff – Retail Team Member

The successful candidates should understand the organisational structure and ethos of The Guild. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will interact with a diverse range of customers.

• Lifting and handling stock, replenishment, and stock rotation
• Serving customers
• Maintaining shop standards

The successful candidates for supervisory roles should also understand the organisational structure and ethos of The Guild. Supervisors are paid at a higher rate of £13.10 per hour + holiday pay.

• Supervising staff in stock replenishment and rotation
• Managing opening and closing procedures as per training and guidelines
• Supervising cashing up and recording takings
• Cooking and preparing hot food following hygiene and safety standards
• Overseeing the Paypoint service, including parcel delivery and collection
• Supporting the online shop
• Serving customers and assisting the team in daily operations
• Maintaining shop standards
