Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) is one of the largest community healthcare organisations in London and Hertfordshire, providing our services to diverse communities/boroughs in 11 London Boroughs.
Children, young people, and families are our focus and passion, and we are looking for highly motivated qualified nurses and midwives committed to providing the best possible care to undertake the Post Graduate Diploma (Level 7) Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting & School Nursing) qualification commencing in September 2025.
This one-year full time course will be jointly undertaken with our partner universities: Kings College, Brunel University, and City St Georges University. This is your chance to join our teams and to develop your career with the Trust. Alongside the support that you will receive from the University, you will be supported throughout your training by a passionate team of Practice Assessors/Supervisors in the 0-19 team, and the CLCH Academy.
This opportunity is being offered at pay band 5 level.
Criteria:
· You must be a qualified nurse/midwife with active registration on part one, or part two of the NMC Nursing Register (NMC PIN number should be provided within the application)
· Must hold a 2.2 or above in a Nursing Degree (UK Level 6)
· Ability to study at level 7

To fulfil the requirements of the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing programme by attending university course dates and practice placement days in accordance with university regulations.
To work with the service, practice assessor/supervisors to develop the skills and competencies to achieve NMC Registration Standards for Specialist Community Practice.
With the support of the service, practice assessor / supervisor, to link the theoretical knowledge gained through the university programme to the practice situation.
To demonstrate an understanding of current and emerging national, regional and local healthcare legislation, policies and guidelines as they pertain to chosen pathway.
To develop/build on skills of caseload and team leadership and management.
