This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Secondments will also be considered.
This opportunity allows you to undertake the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing course in School Nursing full-time over an academic year. The post is fully funded by HEIW, with academic study provided by Glyndwr University and practical placements by BCUHB West area, Anglesey, and Gwynedd. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to register on part 3 of the NMC register.

Knowledge of Welsh is desirable; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
You will be supernumerary during the course and assigned a qualified School Nurse practice supervisor and assessor. You will learn all aspects of the School Nurse role through practical experience within a School Nursing team in West BCU. This will help you build experience and confidence while learning the theoretical aspects of the public health course.
