We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual to take a leading role in shaping the University of Warwick’s student recruitment activity through the delivery of high-profile events.

As one of two Student Recruitment Officers (Events), you will lead the planning and delivery of Warwick’s Undergraduate Open Days and Offer Holder Days, which welcome thousands of prospective students and their guests to campus each year. This role offers a chance to think creatively as you design, manage and deliver events that are inclusive, accessible, and authentically reflect the student experience at a top-ranking, research-intensive university.

You will also support a broader range of student recruitment and conversion activities, contributing where needed to school visits, postgraduate events, and the continued development of the student ambassador scheme.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues in Marketing, Communications, academic departments, and professional services across the University to ensure a seamless and high-quality visitor experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential.

This dynamic and rewarding role is ideal for an individual with proven project management experience, excellent collaborative skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality events that support students at every stage of their journey into higher education.

About You

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can apply your creativity and project management skills to deliver an exceptional visitor experience, this could be the ideal role for you.

You’ll already have significant experience managing large-scale events, with the confidence and credibility to make informed decisions and take ownership of key aspects of our recruitment event strategy.

A meticulous organiser, you thrive when managing multiple priorities. Your collaborative mindset, sound professional judgement, and commitment to high standards will help you build strong working relationships and contribute meaningfully to student recruitment.

You are a skilled communicator, confident in presenting to large audiences and engaging a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll bring a creative, solution-focused approach to problem solving and remain calm under pressure.

With a strong understanding of the UK higher education landscape and current sector trends, you recognise the critical role that recruitment events play in prospective students' decision-making. You’re also confident in evaluating impact, responding to feedback, and demonstrating return on investment.
