Student Recruitment Officer

We are currently looking for a Student Recruitment Officer to join our energetic team at Manchester Metropolitan University International College!

As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to prospective students. You will be their first point of contact, addressing inquiries about our programmes and enhancing the overall student experience. Your expert knowledge will be showcased as you collaborate closely with agents and colleagues both locally and globally. This dynamic role may involve developing marketing materials, navigating admissions processes, and facilitating campus visits, ensuring our prospective students feel welcomed and informed.

Hours of Work: Full-time position, flexibility required for weekends and evenings to support recruitment activities.

Student Recruitment Officer Requirements:

1. Possess a tertiary degree level qualification or working experience related to student recruitment and marketing.
2. Evidence of working with customers offering exceptional support and advice.
3. Analytical mind with good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines, changing priorities, and take responsibility for decisions and outcomes.
5. Flexible attitude to work, including a willingness to work weekends and evenings when necessary, in support of recruitment activities both locally, around the UK, and internationally.
6. Extensive knowledge and experience in using Windows-based and other software applications to manage communications with all stakeholders and provide reports.
7. Successful track record of working in the private education sector.
8. Experience of working in student recruitment, both UK onshore and internationally.
9. Successful work experience in a multi-cultural environment.
10. Ability to speak a foreign language.
11. Driven and motivated with an ability to inspire and influence others with a collaborative, commercial, and positive attitude.
12. Proven experience of working effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders.
