Job Purpose
To assist UK & International Recruitment Managers and Officers in meeting institutional and College targets related to the University’s UK and International Student Recruitment strategies and KPIs. Provide friendly and efficient service to students and visitors worldwide. Manage student enquiries, implement conversion activities to increase offers to registrations across regions. Develop communication channels with external stakeholders such as agents, schools, and event organizers for designated regions. Conduct student recruitment activities in the UK and overseas, with the possibility of regional rotation for diverse market experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for overseas agents, counselors, and students. Respond promptly to enquiries, maintain excellent customer service, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Support the implementation and delivery of conversion activities using webinars, social media, and other online tools, coordinating with other SRCs.
- Manage budgets by raising Purchase Orders, tracking expenses, and reconciling commitments monthly.
- Process agent commissions, verify student registrations, and liaise with overseas agents to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with Colleges and Recruitment Managers to prepare and submit sponsor reports, enhancing reporting processes as needed.
- Support logistics for recruitment events such as fairs and symposiums, including bookings, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating staff and student assistance.
- Maintain recruitment databases, analyze data, and prepare reports for decision-making.
- Keep recruitment presentation templates current and relevant.
- Host campus visitors and deliver presentations to prospective students, parents, schools, and delegations.
- Travel domestically and internationally to represent the University at recruitment events, brief staff, and conduct student interviews.
- Update country-specific recruitment web pages regularly.
- Liaise with university colleagues and provide cover for administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
- A1: Demonstrated competencies and relevant experience or Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 7 or equivalent.
- A2: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- C1: Working knowledge of databases and web research.

Terms and Conditions:
Salary: Grade 5, £25,138 - £29,605 per annum. Full-time, permanent position. The role involves travel and offers a supportive, inclusive community environment.
