Overview

Student Administration - School of Life Science and the Environment

Location: Egham

Salary: £30,621 per annum - including London Allowance. This is the expected starting salary for this post however appointment at a higher point may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the role.

We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. You will be joining a thriving academic school, home to the departments of Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geography, Health Studies and Psychology. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking team.

About The Role

The Student & Programme Administration Officer role will be responsible for a variety of tasks and processes to support the delivery of academic courses. In this position you will:

  • Support all stages of the student life cycle from assessments to graduation.
  • Organise the set-up and delivery of departmental assessments (coursework and exams).
  • Provide lead administrative support for Department Assessment Boards.
  • Respond to a range of queries from staff and students.
  • Develop excellent working knowledge of a variety of IT systems and platforms ranging from Microsoft Excel to University specific software and platforms.
  • Maintain good working relationships with staff from all areas of the University including Professional Services and Academic Staff.
