Please note: this opportunity is only available to current University of Worcester Students

The Facilities Department covers a wide range of services within University of Worcester, including Security, Cleaning, Estates, Campus Services, Grounds, Commercial bookings and Catering. The university has various sites around Worcester which include St Johns, Severn Campus, City campus and Lakeside. Applicants may be required to work on any of these sites.

This will involve supporting the Security & Operations team. This is an opportunity for students who are looking to gain work experience, becoming part of an additional team which plays a key role in supporting the smooth running of the university and contributing in a number of areas of operational support. The role will consist of assisting the carparking supervisor with traffic management on site, parking patrols and issuing of tickets, supporting events such as open days.

This role will require the post holders to be highly motivated and flexible when meeting the business needs across 7 days a week. Some evening and weekend work will be required. The role is predominantly based outdoors.

Please note this a student pool position and the role is part-time, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Exact hours and days to be agreed.

This type of paid work is an ideal way for students to enhance their CV. Training and support is provided where appropriate.

Interviews for this role will take place on Friday 16th August, with the option to interview remotely via Teams for candidates not currently in Worcester.
