We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for Student Onboarding Assistants Team Leader to join our busy Admissions team, for a contra ct commencing August 2025.

You will join us on afull-time, permanentbasisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £28,941-£30,505 per annum Inclusive of London Weighting

The Student Onboarding Assistants Team Leaderrole:

To ensure that a high quality customer orientated service is delivered to all customers in relationto course enquiries, application support and conversion, online, by telephone and in person andto ensure information is clear, accurate and impartial.

The post holder will be expected to undertake activities related to the registration andconversion of enquiries into application. The post holder will be required to have excellentcustomer service skills, be able to communicate with customers of all abilities, including thosewith low level English, via a range of methods.

Key Responsibilities of ourStudent Onboarding Assistants Team Leader:

  • To lead the Student Onboarding Assistants Team,ensuring an outstanding service-driven approach.
  • To respond to and record all inbound enquiries on thedesignated CRM system.
  • Ensure the Student Onboarding Assistants Teamadminister the College’s policies and procedures in
    relation to enquiries, admissions and enrolmentsoflearners to the College.
  • Support the Head of Department in creating andmaintaining all office based systems and processes inrelation to enquiry and conversion activities forstudent recruitment.
  • To provide a service that regularly reviewed andunderpinned within the Service Level Agreement thatare in line with the Matrix Standard.

Our ideal candidateshould have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Good general standard of education equivalent GCSE.
  • Excellent IT skills in MS Office or equivalent.
  • A good working knowledge of providing course information andassociated processes within FE.
  • Outstanding telephone manner and able to dealwith people of alllevels.
  • Ability to monitor a large demanding workload, tracking andallocating tasks, compiling reportswhere necessary.
  • NVQ customer service level 2 or equivalent is desirable.
  • NVQ Information, Advice & Guidance or equivalent is desirable.
