Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Bank Health Care Support Workers to support adult student nurses in inpatient settings. This role is for 2nd/3rd Year Adult Student Nurses only and offers flexible shifts around your studies, across Moseley Hall Hospital, West Heath Hospital and Intermediate Care Centres.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team under a registered nurse, assisting with activities of daily living, moving and handling, and promoting patient

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (washing, dressing, bathing, nutrition, toileting, grooming, safety)
• Assist in moving and handling to support rehabilitation and independence
• Greet and direct visitors to the correct person while maintaining a welcoming environment
• Respect diverse cultural, ethnic and religious preferences to promote equality in care and service
