The Role
As our Student Health & Wellbeing Officer, you’ll be at the heart of an exciting new initiative: the THRIVE programme pilot. Designed to equip students and staff with the tools to succeed, THRIVE focuses on building resilience, motivation, and personal agency through life-skills workshops, physical and mindfulness-based sessions, and accessible digital content.
This 5-month fixed-term role is a unique opportunity to take the lead on developing and delivering a high-impact programme from the ground up. You’ll plan, coordinate, and promote an engaging calendar of events that empower students to succeed not just academically, but in life beyond the classroom.
You’ll be based within Residential Services, as part of our small but impactful Student Health & Wellbeing team. You will work closely with colleagues across the University, including the Library, Estates, and Communications teams, as well as with external workshop facilitators. While the programme will be hosted in and around Senate House, your reach will extend across the University of London community including students in the Intercollegiate Halls, SAS, ULIP, and Worldwide programmes.
This is a creative, hands-on role that brings together programme design, inclusive student engagement, wellbeing promotion, and practical delivery. THRIVE is about helping students and staff flourish, and your work will help shape a whole-University approach to wellbeing, aligned with our commitments under the University Mental Health Charter.
