Job summary

Qualifications

• First Aid qualification required or willingness to undertake training.
• Experience in healthcare, school, care or related setting desirable but not essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and medical support to students and staff.
• Administer prescribed medication in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and accident reports.
• Support students with ongoing medical conditions and individual healthcare plans.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and healthcare professionals when required.
• Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Promote student wellbeing and contribute to safeguarding and welfare practices across the school.
