Job Description:

This role at Newman University Birmingham offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller/Administrator to join a student-centered university undergoing transformation and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of fees and debts, and maintaining positive relationships with students and external stakeholders. Key qualities include flexibility, a positive customer service attitude, and proven experience in credit control.

Requirements include proven ability to reduce debt, experience in a fast-paced finance environment, diligence, accuracy, and strong organizational skills. The role involves administrative duties, including managing the University Support Fund. The ideal candidate will be a team player looking to expand their finance experience.

Applicants should have at least GCSEs in Math and English, and it is preferable if they are studying or part-qualified in AAT accounting, though this is not essential.
