A UK university is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance the academic experience of students. The successful candidate will collaborate across the university community to support high-quality engagement initiatives, ensuring students feel valued. The role requires strong organizational skills and a passion for student success. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Ipswich, offering a competitive salary and generous benefits.
Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE).
Band 2 - £25,804 to £28,031 per annum.
The Directorate of Learning and Teaching has a student journey focus underpinned by research, and a responsibility for delivery of the Access and Participation Plan (APP). The Directorate develops pedagogical innovation and quality enhancement that leads to excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. It oversees the compliance aspects of Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). It seeks to promote efficient course organisation, innovation and management through course design and learning development, as well as delivering a streamlined timetabling system in conjunction with other related areas. Learning and Teaching incorporates the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) to serve as the owner of the University’s teaching, learning and assessment short-, medium- and long-term development. It works alongside other areas under the PVC Education and Student Experience, and academic schools to support the delivery of an exceptional student experience.
This role is designed to work and collaborate across the University of Suffolk community, including with our student body, academic Schools, support services and the Students’ Union. The role holders work to ensure that the academic experience of our students is of a high quality, and that students are supported to engage with all of the opportunities provided by the university to ensure that when they graduate, they have excellent subject knowledge as well as the confidence, skills and knowledge to progress into further and higher study or into their chosen career. We focus on high quality student engagement through initiatives, activities and listening to the student voice to ensure our students feel like they belong, are heard and are valued at the University of Suffolk.

Interview Date: Friday 31 October 2025. Interviews will be held in person on the University of Suffolk campus. The interview process will consist of a series of questions from an interview panel.
