A leading healthcare organization in Rainham is seeking motivated qualified nurses to undertake the Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner qualification starting in January 2026. This full-time course will be supported by a fixed term contract. Candidates must be registered nurses capable of meeting specific admission criteria including independent prescribing qualifications. Interviews will be held in late October 2025, and thorough induction processes are in place for new hires.
NELFT is looking for 3 highly motivated qualified nurses interested in undertaking the Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner qualification (DNSPQ) in January 2026. You will be given a fixed term contract with NELFT to undertake a one-year full-time course. The course is taken jointly with Anglia Ruskin University. Applications will be accepted until: 05-10-2025. Interviews will be held on: 27-10-2025 and 28-10-2025. Candidates will be expected to deliver a presentation along with the interviews.

The post of Specialist Community Practitioner Sponsorship Student is a development post building on existing knowledge, skills and competencies to achieve a higher level of practice resulting in an academic qualification as well as a recordable/recognised qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,714 to a maximum of £5,941 p.a pro rata for part time).
