Job summary

University of Reading is seeking a Disability Support Coordinator to join the Disability Advisory Service. This full-time role (36 hours per week) offers a salary of £27,241 to £30,986 per annum and requires a basic DBS check.

You will coordinate, monitor and organise provision of specialist support for students with disabilities, handle reception duties, and manage related invoicing and payments, contributing to accessible learning for all.

Qualifications

• This role requires a basic DBS check.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults and disabilities is desired.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and arrange provisions to ensure a sustained service for students requiring specialist support.
• Handle reception duties and act as a first point of contact for Disability Advisory Service queries.
• Coordinate financial tasks including invoicing, processing of payments and related administration for student support.
• Contribute to improving access to learning for students with disabilities through efficient service delivery.
