Runshaw College
£16.86 per hour. (FTE £32,436 p.a.) – Pay award pending
Part time hours, with availability across Tuesday – Friday, 6.5 hour working days

A rare opportunity has arisen for a counsellor for students to join Runshaw’s counselling team, as part of the wider Safeguarding and Wellbeing team. The student counselling service offered at Runshaw College is accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (B.A.C.P) and reflects the fact that safeguarding, and wellbeing is an integral part of the College’s outstanding support for both 16-19 and adult students.

The successful applicant(s) will hold full counselling qualifications and be a member of BACP or equivalent organisation. They will have extensive experience of working with young people in an education setting and have a wide range of skills to support the counselling needs of our presenting students in face to face, online and telephone consultations. They will be team players, highly organised, driven, and have meticulous record keeping.
