We are working alongside a fantastic SEN/SEMH provision based in Swindon, who want to welcome an enthusiastic candidate to the team as a Student Behaviour Assistant this April. The school provide education and support to students who face challenges regarding behaviour and mental health. They are seeking a confident individual to join them as a Student behaviour Assistant to support the students who benefit from consistent guidance and encouragement. As a Student Behaviour Assistant, you will be assisting students aged 5 – 16 years old throughout the school day.
The Student Behaviour Assistant’s responsibilities:
* Identify potential triggers for challenging behaviour
* Encourage independence and self-investigation
* Act as a role model for students
* Communicate with teachers, parents and on-site professionals
* Ensuring students feel safe and able to express themselves
Working as a Student Behaviour Assistant is an incredibly rewarding experience; seeing students overcome hurdles and reach their potential despite facing difficulties. The school is a fantastic environment to gain experience and develop your skill set working with vulnerable children.
* Monday – Friday
* 8:30am – 3:30pm
* £85 - £95 daily rate
