Student Barista / Catering Assistant

This role is open to current students at the University of Leeds only.

Interviews are expected to take place between the 8th and 12th of July.

Salary: Grade 2 (£12 per hour)

Are you a current student looking for part-time casual work to support your studies? Do you have excellent customer service skills? Do you have experience working in a customer-facing role in retail or catering?

The Catering & Hospitality department at the University of Leeds is recruiting staff to work across the Refectory and eleven campus cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Barista hot and cold drink service
• Till operation
• Customer service and hospitality/event service

Flexible shift patterns around your studies, with up to 20 hours per week during term time. Opportunities for out-of-term and summer conferencing work are also available.

Training will take place in September 2024, with most roles starting in the first term. Applicants with significant barista or food service experience may start earlier in summer 2024.
