Once at university, you will be released on block weeks for both online and campus teaching and you will work in clinics outside of this time. Once qualified, the role provides diagnostic and rehabilitation to adults who have hearing loss and require hearing reassessments, Ear Nose and Throat hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, follow ups and hearing aid repairs. In future years the successful applicant could undertake further study at the university and qualify as a Band 5 Audiologist if the applicant and department agree about this progression. You would be joining an award-winning team which is working towards UKAS IQIPS accreditation in all areas of work they perform.
Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a professional and positive approach to completing both operational needs and having ideas for developing the service further.
