We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our growing team. As a Student Assistant to the UK & Ireland Leadership team, you will support several areas within the leadership function and work closely with P&L owners, functional leaders, and management. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks spanning the commercial spectrum, giving you a centralized role and the opportunity to build expertise quickly.

We will provide the necessary training and mentoring to help you get started and continuously expand your skills. You will become part of an international team with a large network—an excellent opportunity for professional growth and a foot in the door to a leading biotech company.

You will join the UK & Ireland team and report directly to Onkar Purewal, Senior Finance Manager. The position is based at our Central London office in Holborn.

Your support tasks will be:

  • Office management – Managing a budget to ensure the office runs efficiently
  • Document Management in Veeva and Teams
  • Assisting with the creation and management of purchase orders, work orders, and contracts for both projects and ongoing operations
  • Supporting Market Access & Pricing activities
  • Contributing to projects by helping stakeholders with documentation, administration, planning, etc.
  • Assisting the Senior Finance Manager with financial reports and related activities
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Leadership Team

Qualifications and Skills:

You are currently pursuing a relevant academic degree – preferably you are in your second or third year of your Bachelor studies in the fields of Business Administration or something similar.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong Communications skills
  • Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • A flair for working with data and handling administrative tasks
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A structured and detail-oriented working style

Work hours: You are expected to work approximately 15 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 20 hours during peak periods. Flexibility around exam periods can be arranged with your manager.
