Job summary

Yugo in the United Kingdom is seeking Student Ambassadors to support our student housing communities. The roles are fixed term, part time with flexible shifts and a minimum of 8 hours per week, paid at national minimum wage.

As an Ambassador you’ll help run monthly events, create social media content, cover the front desk, assist with mail and enquiries, support the maintenance team and check-in/check-out processes, and help with admin while staying compliant with health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in looking after your community and running events.
• Good general skills such as basic computer skills, communication, and some knowledge of social media.
• Reliable and trustworthy person who is friendly and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Help out with monthly events in line with our student calendars.
• Create social medial content and keep our community up to date and promote our events.
• Cover the front desk and help students with enquiries such as mail items.
• Help out with the look and feel of the building by reporting any issues and cleaning up if needed.
• General support to the maintenance team and assistance with check in and check out.
• General admin support such as following up on email enquiries.
• Manage health and safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974.
