Job summary

Strutt & Parker ... rural valuations, management and general rural consultancy across Suffolk and adjacent areas. The role focuses on delivering high-quality valuations for diverse purposes and producing detailed client reports.

The successful candidate will be an experienced MRICS rural surveyor with strong client relationships, robust professional judgement and the ability to work under pressure within a regional team in the Suffolk area.

Qualifications

• Valuations for loan security, tax, inheritance and estate planning (rural, residential and development/planning)
• Produce high quality, detailed reports within agreed timescales
• Undertake general rural consultancy and management work as required

The Role

To undertake Rural valuations, management and general Rural consultancy in the Suffolk and the surrounding area.

Requirements

• Responsible for the delivery of the valuations work steam in Suffolk and the surrounding area.
• Undertake valuations for a range of purposes including loan security, tax, inheritance and estate planning (rural, residential and development/planning appraisal)
• Work with colleagues and the Head of Rural Team to develop all work streams.
• Produce high quality, detailed and professional reports to our clients in line with agreed timescales.
• Undertake general Rural consultancy and management work as required.
• Provide professional and reasoned advice to our clients at all times.

Qualifications

Experience

• Experience in agricultural and rural residential valuations
• Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and mapping software
• Experience in working in a regional setting potentially covering more than one office location.
