Job summary

Navartis Ltd. seeks a Structures Agent to lead safe, on-time delivery of structural civils packages on a large project in Suffolk. The role falls inside IR35 and offers a day rate of £450-£550 based on experience, with the client prioritising staff development and involvement.

Ideally, candidates will have civil/structural engineering qualifications, CSCS and SMSTS, plus temporary works training. ICE/IStructE membership or progress toward EngTech is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in civil or structural engineering, or demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Valid CSCS card appropriate to the roles.
• SMSTS
• Temporary works supervisor or Temporary works coordinator training, appropriate to the role.
• Working knowledge of structural concrete, reinforcement, formwork, lifting operations, inspection and test plans and construction assurance.
• Professional membership in ICE or IStructE, or progress toward EngTech, IEng or CEng is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of structural work packages including bridges, culverts, retaining structures, reinforcement concrete and associated civils works
• Coordinate design , construction, quality, programme, commercial interfaces and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered on time and in accordance to drawings and specifications and assurance requirements.
