      Team/Role Overview

      The Structurer is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their role and the business. Recognized as a subject matter expert within one area, strong commercial awareness is essential. The role involves excellent communication skills for internal negotiations, often at a senior level, and some external communication. The role requires providing advanced judgment, conducting in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis, and developing innovative solutions. The impact of decisions can significantly influence the function and/or the business by determining technical approaches and strategies.

      What you’ll do
    • Develop, market, and execute Rates solutions ideas, primarily focused on Emerging Markets in Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
    • Perform payoff risk and P&L impact analysis pre-trade and post-trade scenarios.
    • Conduct customized back tests and client portfolio analysis.
    • Participate in pre-trade and post-sales efforts, working closely with institutional and corporate sales teams.
    • Contribute to the development of new products and payoffs.
    • Create marketing presentations and participate in client meetings.
    • Collaborate with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure governance and control infrastructure.
    • Promote a culture of responsible finance, good governance, ethics, and expense discipline.
    • Assess risk/reward of transactions, ensuring team understanding and consideration of the firm's reputation.
    • Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services.
    • Follow all policies and procedures related to your role and maintain required licenses and registrations.
