Join us as a Structured Finance Manager at Barclays, where you'll be responsible for managing complex debt transactions, supporting internal colleagues, and liaising with clients.

Location options include London, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, or Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategic direction for debt structuring, including implementing up-to-date methodologies and processes.
  • Managing debt structuring activities, overseeing team performance, and ensuring departmental goals are met.
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders and external third-party service providers.
  • Developing policies and procedures for debt structuring.
  • Managing debt structuring risk, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and costs.
  • Conducting market research to understand trends, competition, and regulatory changes.
  • Advising on policy development and operational effectiveness, collaborating with other divisions.
  • Leading a team or guiding collaborative assignments, setting objectives, and coaching employees.
  • Demonstrating leadership behaviors (Listen, Energize, Align, Develop) or guiding teams through complex projects.
  • Consulting on complex issues, mitigating risks, and developing policies to support governance.
  • Managing risks and strengthening controls related to debt structuring activities.
