Job summary

vertexsolutions is looking for a Structured Finance & Fund Counsel in London to support its global renewable energy portfolio across solar, BESS, and wind. This role involves leading legal structuring on project finance and capital markets, managing complex transactions, and coordinating with external counsel worldwide. The ideal candidate should be a qualified solicitor with 5–10 years of PQE in relevant areas, including experience with cross-border financing. Mandarin fluency is preferred for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years PQE in structured finance, fund formation, or project finance.
• Experience at a leading international law firm, financial institution, or in-house platform.
• Strong exposure to multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiation of financing documentation.
• Advise on security packages and intercreditor arrangements.
• Support issuance of bonds and sustainability-linked instruments.
• Monitor UK, EU, and international regulatory developments.
