Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Structured Cabling Engineer to install, test and maintain copper and fibre‑optic cabling across Kent and the South East. You will work within a skilled team on commercial and industrial sites, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Candidates should have 3+ years in structured cabling, CSCS/ECS, and be willing to travel across the region. A competitive package with benefits is offered by the client.

Qualifications

• Three or more years' experience in structured cabling installations.
• CSCS or ECS site card.
• IPAF and PASMA training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test Cat6, Cat6a and fibre cabling.
• Install internal and external copper and fibre cabling infrastructure.
• Install cable containment systems (conduit, trunking, trays).
• Fault-find, diagnose and rectify structured cabling systems.
• Liaise with customers and other contractors on site.
• Occasionally travel or stay overnight for projects.
