Job summary

GI Group Main Account is seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator/Welder for their LE9-based team. The role involves fabricating and welding structural steel and architectural metalwork for large-scale UK projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of MIG welding experience, be able to read engineering drawings, and work independently to high standards. Starting rate is £15.00 per hour, with a standard 40–45 hour week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fabrication and welding experience.
• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld structural steel and architectural metalwork.
• Manufacture steel frames, stairs, balustrades, canopies, and bespoke steelwork.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Work to tight tolerances and safety standards.
