What Youll Be Doing

  • Set up and carry out structural load testing on sites across the UK
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on structural performance of barriers, beams, bridges and more
  • Work with a variety of testing equipment, monitoring systems, and custom-built rigs
  • Communicate directly with clients, both on-site and via email/phone
  • Maintain equipment and contribute ideas to improve systems and processes

This is asite-based, physical rolethat often involves early starts, manual handling, working at heights or in confined spaces (full training provided).

What Youll Bring

  • Practical experience using handheld tools (from any industry: trades, construction, engineering)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Competence with MS Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to travel
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing things properly
  • A full UK manual driving licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • NVQ or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
  • Welding, soldering or rigging experience
  • GCSEs in Maths or Physics
