Job summary

Build Maintain Recruit Limited is recruiting a Structural Technician for an Exeter engineering consultancy. You will produce structural drawings and develop CAD drawings under engineers, turning concepts into buildable information.

The role covers residential, commercial and development projects with hands-on exposure and close collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience in producing structural drawings, strong CAD skills, and a proactive approach to learning and development within a

Qualifications

Experience producing structural drawings in an engineering consultancy.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Revit experience is advantageous.
Understanding of building structures and construction methods.
Experience on residential and/or commercial projects.
Strong attention to detail and good communication.
Willingness to develop technically.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed structural drawings and technical information.
Develop and update CAD drawings and models.
Work closely with Structural Engineers to turn designs into buildable information.
Support projects from initial design through to detailed stages.
Coordinate drawings with engineers and other project disciplines.
Carry out drawing reviews and quality checks.
Assist with site visits and surveys when required.
Manage workload across multiple live projects.
Ensure drawings are delivered accurately within timescales.
