Qualifications

• Well-rounded Structural Technician required.
• Experience in residential sector projects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of projects across the residential sector.
• Review and implement site investigation reports.
• Attend design team meetings and site visits as needed.
• Undertake structural drawings and details including RC Detailing.

Skills

Knowledge of concrete

Knowledge of steel structures

Knowledge of load-bearing masonry

Knowledge of timber structures

Ability to review site investigation reports

Ability to implement Building Regulations

A new Structural Technician opportunity has arisen with myClient in Birmingham.There has never been a more exciting time to join my Client's company,with the development of a new Team and Department of skilled and highly experienced engineering professionals already in place and expanding! Offering centrally located offices, hybrid working arrangements and a healthy pipeline of work and projects to be involved in as a Structural Technician.

MyClient is on the lookout for a talented Structural Technician to work on a range of projects across the broad residential sector (housing, apartments, mid-rise, retirement) as well as other design schemes set across the Structural Engineering sector.

Skills

• Knowledge of concrete, steel and load-bearing masonry and timber structures
• Ability to review and implement site investigation reports, NHBC guidelines, Building Regulations, LABC and BRE etc.
• Attend Design team Meetings
• Attend site to review issues if and when required
• Undertaking of structural drawings and details including RC Detailing

Software:

• AutoCAD
• CADS RC
• Revit - Not essential to success int he role but beneficial
