Job summary

Workforce People and Data Ltd in London is seeking a Structural Steel Project Manager to lead projects from inception through to completion, coordinating design, fabrication and installation teams to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

You will manage programmes, budgets and resources; liaise with clients, main contractors, architects and engineers; monitor progress and ensure health and safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within structural steelwork, steel fabrication or a related construction environment.
• Experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and construction processes.
• Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage programmes, budgets and competing priorities.

Structural Steel Project Manager

Location: London

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

An established structural steelwork contractor is looking to recruit a Project Manager to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in structural steelwork, fabrication or steel installation to take responsibility for managing projects from initial handover through to successful completion.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of structural steelwork projects, coordinating design, procurement, fabrication and installation activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

• Managing structural steelwork projects from inception through to completion.

• Managing project programmes, budgets and resources.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have previous experience in project management within structural steelwork, steel fabrication or a related construction environment.

• Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
